Avvir is made by construction people for construction people.
At Avvir, we’re set apart from the rest of our industry in a few key ways. We know that project teams have most of the data they need to prevent issues from arising on-site. We also know that most of that data is siloed. Tools like Openspace, Cupix and Disperse can collect your 360 photos and LiDAR scans, but they don’t utilize that data in a way that gives you the full picture of your project. Other tools like Buildots, Doxel, Constru and Reconstruct collect your data and are able to do progress tracking against your project, but are missing key components like deviation analysis and automated as-builts.
Avvir's automated risk analysis platform helps you deliver on plan by enabling your team to fix mistakes, reduce costly rework, prevent critical path delays, and gain accurate, transparent financial visibility into your project's progress.
Solutions
Fix mistakes, reduce costly rework, and keep your BIM up to date with as-built conditions.
Prevent critical path delays with the most accurate model-based progress and productivity tracking for all trades.
Gain financial visibility and confidence into your actual earned value.
At Avvir, we’re lucky to have employees with real construction experience on both the Owner and GC side’s of the business. We didn’t want to just make construction tools, we wanted to make sure the people building our platform, and helping our customers actually understood what was needed to help a project be successful.
Caity Taylor
Director of Solutions Engineering
Caity brings over a decade of experience to Avvir having worked in a variety of roles in the industry. Most recently, as a Senior Development Project Manager at WeWork, Caity oversaw a team of people managing every detail from lease negotiation of a space through construction close out and handover to facilities. Her passion for technology stems from her time as a Senior Design Technology Specialist at CASE Design where she helped AECO professionals to strategically implement design tools into their workflows and as an Architectural Intern for The Walt Disney Company where she learned what it takes to assemble Construction Documents. This breadth of experience informs her day to day interactions with customers as she understands what is needed to make a project successful.
Trevor Sanders
Machine Learning Engineer
Before Avvir, Trevor held multiple roles in the AEC field. He worked as both a Structural Engineer, performing inspections on heavy civil infrastructure, and as a Field Engineer, coordinating subcontractors, and verifying progress. As a member of Skanska's USA Civil team, Trevor helped deliver the $200M contract for their portion of Boston's Green Line Extension Project. He was responsible for reviewing drawings, procuring material and supervising installation along the seven station light rail extension. Trevor experienced first-hand the challenges of tracking work on a project with many stakeholders. It is what motivates him to develop tools that help take the burden of this work off Avvir's customers.
Kyle Johnson
Senior Director, Solution Engineering
Prior to leading the Solutions Engineering team at Avvir, Kyle has had a diverse background in the AEC industry. He started his career with SHoP Architects as a VDC intern and has worked on the owner side of the industry at WeWork as a BIM manager and a project manager. Kyle is interested in implementing technology to gain data driven insights that promote efficiency and innovation in all facets of real estate, design and construction and is a huge asset to our customers.
Brad Shapiro
Product Manager
Brad has built his career around advancing the use of digital technology for builders. Brad has worked with both large contractors and developers to help grow their digital strategy and promote the adoption of technology both in the office and the field. Most recently Brad worked as a VDC Technical Manager with Lendlease construction in New York City. Brad kicked off the VDC group's internal reality capture initiatives and eventually trained and led a team focused on field capture services and VDC management. Leveraging his background in construction management and construction technology, Brad is now working as a Product Manager, where he aims to help shape the future of AEC technology through delivering intuitive and impactful software solutions for our users.

We envision buildings and everything inside them, represented by digital twins, that show not just an asset’s geometry, but every aspect of it, enabling complete knowledge of a build, at any time. We want to be at the forefront of this digitization journey, and we believe the best way to do that is during construction.
