Sharon comes to Avvir with a 22-year track record of leading teams and developing processes to exceed revenue targets at growing SaaS companies. Before joining Avvir, Sharon led revenue organizations at companies such as eSUB Construction Software and HotSchedules to bring transformative technology to their respective industries. Her experience helped customers who were previously burdened with manual and paper-based processes to experience the benefits of digital transformation. At Asure Software Sharon led the global expansion of Asure’s workspace management solution leading to the sale of that business unit to FM Systems. She spent years speaking at workspace management conferences worldwide as one of the industry subject matter experts. Sharon earned a Masters in Telecommunications from George Mason University and holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Binghamton University in New York.
Graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Computer Science, Electronic Media Arts & Communication Tira started her career as a Software Development Engineer for Amazon Instant Video where she helped scale backend services for Amazon’s video platform. Tira’s technical background in full stack web development and lean, user-centered design includes 4 years at Pivotal Labs as a Software Development Engineer. There Tira trained companies in modern product development practices, helping high level stakeholders to identify and target business goals, and helping other developers to write software more effectively. Leveraging her experience working with 2D, and 3D technical drawing tools and Big Data. Tira formed a foundation to bring to her role as Avvir’s CTO. Her passion for understanding users, careful prioritization, and responsible software development has allowed Avvir’s product features to develop rapidly in alignment with customer needs.
Karin comes to Avvir with over 20 years of experience helping start-ups and Fortune 500 companies (IBM and Capital One) improve their bottom line and create a competitive advantage using innovative leading edge technology solutions. With an MBA from University of Richmond and prior work ranging from Account management at software start-ups and technology consulting firms to Director of Engineering at Capital One and Director for Strategic Programs at a non-profit, Karin is a proven strategic leader with a passion for solving complex challenges and scaling start-up operations by working through ambiguity, understanding customer needs and building strong, collaborative teams that deliver impactful results.
Matt has been involved in tech since 2009. A strong advocate for user-centered products, Matt has shipped over 18 products as a product manager and product leader across a variety of industries and company phases – from establishment Consumer Parking (yes, really 🚗) to David (vs. Goliath) Retail Banking to startup AdTech. He continues to implement innovative products and practices as Head of Product at Avvir. From Los Angeles, Matt graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a major in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology and minors in Economics and Political Science. He now lives in Brooklyn.

As per recent communication, following the Hexagon acquisition of AVVIR in October 2022, the AVVIR platform is now incorporated into Hexagon’s portfolio. The AVVIR (brand) and website will become part of Hexagon’s new Building Solutions website as of February 1st, 2024 expanding Hexagon’s portfolio of integrated construction solutions.
Existing Avvir customers who access their projects through the portal.avvir.io website can now find their projects on the Hexagon Construction Analysis Portal https://cap.hexagon.com
